When Fast and Slow Collide
Fast and slow has been colliding all week for us.
The odd thing about it is that I am seeing the pattern, everywhere. Has it always been this way, in every moment, in every day? How have I never noticed it before? Fast and slow, they are more interconnected than I ever imagined and there is little in my control.
I can't will or change either one. I can't even separate them.
This is hard to reconcile.
My only saving grace has been the discovery of something else. Between fast and slow, there is a space, a tiny, white space small enough to hold a single breath and that is where I am today and will do my best to hold on to this month.
